Activator 90  is a low-foaming, non-ionic type spreader adjuvant. It provides quick wetting, more uniform distribution, and increases retention of spray by reducing surface tension of the spray droplets. 

This is a water soluble adjuvant that may also be used as an interfacing agent for wettable powders. The minimum amount required to give a smooth, uniform coverage usually gives the most effective results.
